After getting a good brekkie at our local Macca’s/McDonald’s (we know that some would contradict this statement), we headed over to the Melbourne Airport to fly up to Sydney (about a 1.5 hour flight) while Ben and Dr. Cirone dropped off our rental vehicles and hitched a ride back to the airport. Because of all the luggage we had, the Qantas check-in ladies were very helpful in getting everything sorted out and were given a hearty thanks and a tract for their helpfulness. It was neat that just as the team were beginning to check-in their luggage, Ben and Dr. Cirone arrived back to the airport just in time!

The flight up to Sydney was uneventful and it is amazing that once we bust through the Australian cloud cover that it is always smooth sailing. As we arrived into Sydney, the cloud cover dissipated and it was a beautiful 72 degree cloudless day. Once collecting our transport vehicles (which took a little longer than expected), we headed down the Motorway to our motel to get settled in for the arvo (aka afternoon).

Other than it being a travel day, the only thing on our agenda was a 7:00 pm Holiday Kid’s Club Orientation Meeting at Condell Park Bible Church. As always, Condell Park Bible Church does all things “decently and in order” all to the glory of God thus allowing the Gospel message to go out with power and effectiveness. It was great seeing Pastor and Mrs. Matthews who were giving some last minute “Under the Sea” decoration instructions as well as Evangelist Fraser Young who will be this week’s speaker.

For this week, our ministry schedule calls for assisting Condell Park Bible for the next four mornings as well as conducting a three-evening Youth Rally at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor and Mrs. Medina. Please continue to pray for strength and effectiveness as the team serves in these ministries. We will update you sometime within the next 24-48 hours when both programs have been completed.

Lord bless,
Team Australia
