Everyone has made it to LAX, checked their bags, gone through security, and are now sitting at Gate 154 in LAX’s Terminal B awaiting our 10:20 pm flight–15 hours of sheer excitement! ;0) Today was a great day filled with team bonding and surprises such as the announcement that was just made a minute ago about our plane needing to undergo required maintenance which now bumps our departure until 1:00 am. Another surprise is that we accidently took someone’s luggage from our motel and needed to return it. Unfortunately, we did not discover this until we were already at the airport and therefore rented a car for an hour to return it (it was actually cheaper than getting an Uber) since the motel did not have an airport shuttle.
Nonetheless, we were reminded that there was a reason that this happened and maybe the tracts and tip we initially gave the motel desk staff would now be read/considered a bit more deeper since we had to practice “shoe leather Christianity.” It was profitable day as several tracts were given out. Whether it was in the elevator or on a boat, team bonding has been excellent and everyone is thrilled to be a part of this wonderful opportunity.
